At the heart of Love, Lorraine is storytelling. Telling a story through photographs is what keeps us motivated and is why we continue working with couples just like you. Our love for storytelling and passion for the outdoors brought us to where we are today — photographing love stories in beautiful places.
Living an alternative lifestyle has inspired us to create a business that provides an alternative approach to wedding planning. We believe your wedding day is the perfect opportunity to plan something entirely different and outside of the norm. We love experiencing new places and helping couples think outside of the box when it comes to their wedding day.

Adventure is at the core of everything we do. Love, Lorraine was born out of a passion for new experiences, travel, and chasing our dreams. Our business philosophy is simple; we seek adventure in everything we do. As your photographers, we make a conscious effort to assist you in conquering your wildest dream wedding day plans.
No matter where your story takes you - to the red desert of Moab, the rocky coastline of Oregon, or a cozy celebration with your closest friends and family in the Rocky Mountains - we will be there, ready to capture your story. We want to help couples remember their greatest adventure yet by providing them with memories to remember forever.

Our official job title is “Photographer”
but we do so much more than that.
There’s so much more that goes into the logistics we plan, the locations we scout, and the timelines we create. This is your greatest adventure and we pour our heart and soul into making sure that your day is one that you remember forever.
We believe creating a friendship with our couples is an essential part of our success as your photographers and guides. On the day of your wedding, we love nothing more than showing up as your friends and adventure buddies. The moments you see throughout our work didn’t just happen. We work to capture those moments and it all starts when we create that friendship.
We do things a little differently around here.
Yes, we can show up on your wedding day, snap a few epic photos of you in a sweet location, give you a high five and then bounce. We can provide the “fly on the wall” approach to your wedding day… but that’s just not us. Ditch the “sorry, we are super awkward in front of the camera” mindset. Trust me, this won’t be your typical portrait session. We will make sure you have the best time and forget that you’re even in front of a camera.

“We first met Lauren and Travis of Love, Lorraine for an adventure shoot (which ended up being our engagement shoot) and because we clicked so well and the quality of their work was incredible, we knew we had to use them for our adventure elopement. We decided to plan a week-long stay at an AIRBNB in Joshua Tree that would ultimately serve as our wedding venue as well. Note, we do not live in California, so having Lauren and Travis there for extra support, guidance and manpower were amazing. And, they are really fun to hang out with in general! Lauren and I worked on a vision board together and she answered all my questions in the months leading up to the wedding (which, by the way, some "day of coordinators" won't even talk with you until the week or month of). She perfectly executed the aesthetic I was going for on the aisle, table, reception space, etc. And the best part is that since she is a photographer as well, she knew exactly how to style everything for the best shots too. A few days before the wedding, Travis helped my hubby build a custom arbor!!! Lauren and Travis took care of all the coordinating on the day of - handing out the payments, scheduling, last-minute changes, etc. I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger. She came and checked in on me numerous times while I was getting ready just to make sure I didn't need anything. She is incredibly thoughtful in that regard. She even put up with me changing my mind 100 times last minute :) I cannot recommend Lauren and Travis enough.”

“From the moment we met Lauren, I had this feeling that she was the person who would make my elopement fantasy become reality. Lauren organized every single detail, all the way down to the glasses we used to toast our union. She first presented us with a short half-mile hike to a beautiful lake in Colorado, which is what I requested since we are NOT expert hikers and we were traveling from Minnesota. As we were just about to reach our destination we came to a fork in the road and we had an option to go another two miles to a different lake that Lauren had mentioned the week before our hike. Feeling spontaneous and not out of breath we decided to go for it! The entire way to the lake Lauren and Travis made sure we were ok, constantly checking in with us to ensure we were comfortable. The research and preparation that went into making sure we had the most epic day were obvious. Our ceremony was amazing, and we were able to enjoy a picnic with a beautiful view, as husband and wife. We shot photos as we descended the mountain. It started to get dark so we were given headlamps to help us see on the way down, seriously she thinks of EVERYTHING! Getting to know your photographer on a personal level doesn’t happen at every event you have. I will forever cherish my time with Lauren and Travis, they seriously made our day PERFECT. When I received our photos......I was speechless! I didn’t even recognize the people in the photos. It looked like a photo out of a bridal magazine. Lauren took what I envisioned and made it come to life! Her skills are impeccable, and the talent she has behind that lens is by far the best I’ve ever experienced.”

Imagine this…
Imagine this: You wake up the morning of your elopement day. You pack up your hiking pack with all of the essentials. First Aid Kit, headlamps, jackets, water, food, celebratory beers, etc. But, most importantly your wedding dress and suit.
On your drive, you might be listening to your favorite song, or enjoying a cup of coffee all while taking in the gorgeous view during your drive. You start thinking about how today is going to be the most epic adventure the two of you have gone on together.
You get to the trailhead and start preparing for the epic hike ahead - your last 14,000ft mountains. You start to ascend, stopping along the way to have some water, eat a snack and take in the gorgeous views. Knowing that you will soon be completing something epic together! All while this is happening, we are documenting every moment - moments that you don’t even know are happening, we are capturing them.
We will photograph everything from start to finish. The climb up. The climb down. Your vows, ring exchange, and the epic champagne pop. Your first dance as a married couple and the intimate celebratory dinner later that night.
