A few years ago, Travis and I went a Norwegian Cruise to the Caribbean. We were sitting at the only beer bar on the entire ship, and made friends with two sisters - Kaitlin and Bridget. We quickly realized that we only lived a few hours from each other and went to the same breweries! We kept in touch over the years, and recently reunited at Kaitlin’s wedding in New York! When Kaitlin reached out to us about photographing her wedding, we knew it was going to be a blast (and filled with delicious beer!)
Kaitlin and her partner Ryan threw an awesome wedding at a rustic little winery at Stablegate Barn in Castleton-on-Hudson. They decided to have a first look in the vineyard, where they read handwritten vows to one another - just the two of them - and an intimate ceremony on top of a hill overlooking fields and mountains. It was the perfect location and setting for Kaitlin and Ryan to say "I do”.
Kaitlin and Ryan aren’t your typical couple. They are pretty adventurous and had all of the perfect “adventure” touches at their wedding. Each table was labeled after a hike they’ve done. They had adventure tickets as seating cards, and a beautiful custom “woodsy” cake for dessert. They even brought in their favorite local brews like Treehouse to share with all of their friends and family. We can’t thank these two enough for allowing us to photograph and celebrate their adventurous love story. Cheers to the happy couple!!
