East Coast Adventure Elopement
A year ago, Travis and I sat down with Jamison and Rebecca and chatted about their upcoming wedding in April of 2018. A small intimate wedding which would be held in Newport, Rhode Island. Ideally, they wanted to incorporate some of their favorite things, like hiking but didn’t think that was possible in such a small town. We came up with a few ideas, but the one that stuck was eloping in one of their favorite places, New Hampshire. In less than a month we collectively planned their special day and set a date: October 8th, 2018.
That morning we all met up and headed North. We stopped at a few places along the way to get breakfast, coffee and their favorite donuts - PVDonuts! Once we arrived at the base of the hike, we packed up all of our gear and hiked the short trail to the top of the mountain. We found the perfect spot that overlooked a valley and set up for their ceremony. Their best friend (and Travis’ brother!), Dillon officiated their wedding, which it made it even more special.
Photographing adventure elopements is more than just an epic location and placing a beautiful coupe in it’s landscape. Its about connecting with your clients and helping them make their wedding dreams come true. Jamison and Rebecca’s adventure elopement was simple and fitting to their lifestyle. I’m so thankful to have been a part of their planning process and a part of their special day!
