Dillon’s Colorado Visit | February 1 - 5

My brother has always been interested in living in Colorado. Since Lauren and I had spent most of January here, we invited him to join us for a week before we started our road trip north! His visit brought us to Leadville, Rocky Mountain National Park, and our go to football bar Blake Street Tavern for Super Bowl festivities. Go Pats!

Snowbasin, Utah | February 13-15

After a wind and snow storm deterred us away from Jackson, Wyoming, we decided to detour to Salt Lake City and catch up with our friends Kyle and Lindsey for a day at Snowbasin. We can’t wait to head back to SLC next week and revisit Snowbasin for another day of riding, as well as Snowbird.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming |
February 16-19

Having always heard stories from my family about their visit to Jackson Hole, I (Travis) was very eager to pay this resort a visit. Jackson Hole is everything they say it is; difficult, steep, technical and full of snow. This resort was incredible, and the town/village made it an even better visit. We were lucky enough to connect with a few locals (Jazzy and Ryley) who live and work in town while skiing the winter days away. We took a snow hike with the pups, explored the town of Jackson, and went hard at Jackson Hole Resort for 2 days. Huge thanks to our new friends Jazzy and Ry for letting us crash in their parking lot!

Grand Teton National Park | February 21

The other perk to being in Jackson… The accessibility to the Grand Tetons! We really loved this place, it was hard to leave. We spent an extra day in hopes of catching a sunrise on the Tetons, and it PAID OFF BIGTIME. Check out some of our photos below from the sunrise, and then from our short hike to Taggart Lake on such a beauty day.

Big Sky, Montana | February 22-27

We haven’t talked much about Sam and Pam yet. Let’s do that now. We met these guys in Jackson, but it was towards the end of our visit. They mentioned they were heading to Big Sky for a week and absorbed them as our newest van friends immediately. Check out Atlas Pet Company, you won’t regret it. Okay, on to BIG SKY! What a resort, this place was enormous! We spent two days here and couldn’t even touch half of the mountain. We had big ski crews both days here and loved having a larger group to cruise around with. We got to cruise Bozeman, MT for a bit, too. Found an awesome coffee shop called Treeline Coffee Roasters, and Mountains Walking Brewery. Don’t forget it. The locals were super pleasant, we are glad to have had some time in MT!
